Introduction to architecture representation as a discourse, considering various representational methods within a historical and theoretical framing. Production and reading architectural representation are essential to this course. Focused workshops on creating visual and digital representations, including film, digital rendering, collage, data visualization, and sound, allow students to implement and test techniques from case studies. Students develop frameworks for critical thinking about architectural representation.
