Description
A continuation of the ARCH 1140 and ARCH 1240 series, this class will expand the student's knowledge of how to insert new technologies and construction into an existing building shell. This course will take a practical approach of how to evaluate, classify, and diagnose construction deficiencies of existing buildings. The lessons will utilize a step-by-step approach to documenting, detailing, and programming existing facilities. The student will understand the appropriateness of preservation, renovation, and rehabilitation.
