Description
This course will teach students the fundamental concepts of Mainframe operating systems and MVS Job Control language (JCL). Students will learn how the operating system controls the computer's hardware by understanding IBM's Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS) operating system. In addition, this course will teach students the use IBM's utility programs, JES3 (Job Entry Subsystem 3) statements, and how to create job streams to submit work to the IBM MVS/ESA mainframe computer system.
