Description
This course compares and contrasts how the .NET framework is used versus the Java Virtual Machine. Each environment’s use of classes, graphics capabilities and web programming is explored. Specific topics include the .NET framework set of user controls versus the Java Swing set, the use of webforms, and the deployment of strategies of the two environments. At the conclusion of the course, the student is familiar with the .NET framework and how it relates to the Java world.
