Supervised/Student Teaching I

"This is the first of two field-based student teaching experiences mandated in the Regents standards for preparing classroom teachers. Provides an opportunity for the pre-service or in-service teacher with limited experience to develop and demonstrate competencies in teaching under the guidance of a cooperating teacher and a college supervisor. Emphasis is on instructional planning, implementation and assessment. Must be accompanied by written reports, reflective essays, and scheduled seminars."
