The lathe, horizontal and vertical milling machines, drill press and grinder, (surface and pedestal). Basic operations performed on these different machine tools provide hands-on experience in basic manufacturing techniques and gives students a better understanding of the processes they may eventually be called upon to recommend, design or update.
