Description
The course introduces basic concepts in analog and digital communications. Topics covered include spectral analysis of electrical signals, Fourier series, Fourier transform, signal and noise filtering and amplification. Amplitude, frequency and phase modulation techniques as well as amplitude and pulse-code modulation in Analog to Digital converters are covered. Introduction to traffic engineering is studied in the laboratory.
