IP Technology and Applications
Description
IP technology will lead to a variety of communication applications, where user devices, servers and all kinds of appliances are connected and can communicate over IP. Triple-Play networks existing today can deliver telephone, IPTV and high-speed Internet access over common infrastructures. The success of the services running on these networks depends upon the networks being designed, built, configured and managed in a manner that guarantees the service quality needed. This course introduces the trend of emerging IP applications. The students will learn how to design, build and configure the networks with IP applications and ensure the delivery of the required quality of service such as Internet, VoIP, and IPTV over the IP based network.
