Course Title
Advanced Microcontroller & Embedded System Design
Description
An in-depth exploration of microcontroller systems, including architecture, interface, and applications. In this handson course, students spend a considerable amount of time in the lab experimenting with the microcontroller, and gain significant experience in using a PIC-based microcontroller to input information from users, via buttons and switches, and output information using LEDs and LCD displays. Toward the end of the semester, students design and develop an embedded system for different applications. Both assembly and C/C++ languages are used during the lab and assignments.
