Course Title
Virtualization
Description
In this course, students will learn about the different virtualization technologies that a workstation or a server would not need dedicated hardware to run as independent entities, but instead can run on a virtual machine where the computer's hardware is emulated and presented to an operating system as if the hardware truly existed. Students will gain hands-on experience installing virtual workstations, virtual servers, and virtual storage. Students will also learn how to manage the virtual environment, and perform common administration tasks like backup and recovery of virtual machines.
