Description
This course will provide the students with the opportunity to deepentheir knowledge in the field of administering and managing computing resources. First, students will study network services and managing computing resources in the network and how to deploy computing resources and understand the logistical issues related as well as the technical tools available. Advanced topics include Network management protocols such as SNMP and management tool, datacenters integrates various types of computing systems, networking and storage resources that work to provide the best solutions to a set of business requirements such as Unified Computing Systems. This course provides an introduction to these new classes of architectures that are becoming readily available to students with a background in system administration. An introduction to the concepts of computing resources provisioning, high performance computing and cloud architectures will be presented.
