This course provides a broad overview of medical media and communication technologies used in the delivery and administration of modern health care systems. Online health communities outside of medical contexts are also a focus. Topics include finding credible information online, Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) systems, Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and the digital divide.
